Chairwoman

Initial Appointment: 2013

After graduating from Valley High School in Las Vegas Nevada, Mrs. Premsrirut attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1999, Mrs. Premsrirut received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law, where she was the recipient of the Minoru Yasui Memorial Law Scholarship. Since returning to Las Vegas, Mrs. Premsrirut worked as an associate attorney at Jones Vargas, prior to forming the law firm Goodman Brown and Premsrirut, during which she concurrently served on the Clark County Judicial Selection Committee from 2001-2003 and the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee in 2005. As of 2007, Mrs. Premsrirut has been a practicing attorney at the association of law firms, Brown Brown & Premsrirut, servicing both litigation and transaction clients in primarily business and real estate matters, including clientele in restaurant and nightlife operations. Mrs. Premsrirut also practices securities law with a narrow focus in representing exempt offerings for numerous businesses in Southern Nevada, including many projects located in the redeveloped downtown Las Vegas area. Since 2009, Mrs. Premsrirut has also served as class action counsel representing super-priority lien claimants in hundreds of lawsuits against homeowners associations and the collections industry.

Concurrent with her law practice, Mrs. Premsrirut has also served on charitable and educational boards for local and regional organizations, including the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors, and tenure as President of the Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas. Continued service to the Las Vegas Children Foundation (a local organization, founded by Las Vegas pediatric practitioners) enables meaningful contributions to impact children both locally and abroad with medical supplies and school equipment. Mrs. Premsrirut is also a founding member of the Las Vegas Fashion Council, a newly established organization that endeavors to promote the fashion industry through economic development, education, arts, and community events.

Since November of 2011, Mrs. Premsrirut and partner opened Le Thai, a restaurant in downtown Las Vegas, and has plans to develop several more eating establishments in the area.
