Cody Winterton

Cody Winterton is Senior Vice President of Raintree Investment Corporation, an exclusive agent of Paulson & Co. Inc., engaged in real estate investment and land development. On behalf of Raintree, Mr. Winterton assists with Paulson's investment and development activities in Nevada, California and Arizona.

Prior to joining Raintree, Mr. Winterton practiced law with a prominent Nevada firm, representing clients in a wide variety of commercial, tort and civil litigation matters in both state and federal court. A portion of his legal practice was in the area of water law, including maintaining and preserving water rights, as well as the acquisition, sale, securitization and foreclosure of water rights. Mr. Winterton represented numerous clients in administrative proceedings before the State Engineer, as well as in cases involving the judicial review of water rights decisions.

Mr. Winterton remains active in the southern Nevada community serving on a local sports advisory committee. He volunteers his time with the Nevada Youth Soccer Association and has coached numerous youth soccer teams. In addition, he serves on several homeowners' association boards and is an active volunteer in his local church organization. Mr. Winterton and his wife, Kathryn, reside in Henderson, Nevada and are the proud parents of four children.

Mr. Winterton received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law where he served as a member of the Willamette Law Review.
